No show on the subwoofer guy but at least he emailed and I could continue lawn mowing for tomorrows open house w/o having to check the driveway. I am a dummy for giving him an addy without knowing he was on his way with cash. Then I whoops and responded to a "Is this still available" C list email spam sh&T!!! Okay, that one got away from me lol! I'll just sip on my Georgetown Lucille : )

any recommendations of places to see or eat in or south of Johnson Creek WI? road trip (fingers crossed) to help friend pick up his "I survived chemo Viper". hope weather holds, temp and humidity stay down. I have A/C, not sure if he does.

I have seen lots of good stuff about this place. Jefferson has a big swap meet 2x per year. About an hour from me.

Welcome

plans are to be there at the dealership by 10 or so. they open at 11. might just work. if not this trip, the town looks like a place my Wife and I would like to walk around. maybe I'll take her there for lunch some Saturday. Thanks!

Evening. Well it’s official. The garden I planted this year is well, Dead. Minus a couple cucumber plants, the excessive water from the spring rains then the switch to 8 days of 100 plus degree weather destroyed everything else. Oh well.

bummer. maybe this was the year the soil needed to take a break? or however they put it in organic terms.

Doubt it. Was the first year for this garden. But honestly didn’t expect much due to that factor.

I think I’m just gonna get the tractor and disc hooked up, plow it deep, let it dry fill with manure from the barns all summer and fall long, till it again about October and let it sit till spring.

I'm no gardener or farmer so: if you put manure in the soil but it sits for a length of time and you till it under, it will not burn the plants? hope I made that clear, words don't always match thoughts.

Some can. Chicken and turkey has a lot of ammonia in it. Plants don't like that.

If you do it when it’s fresh yeah, it’ll nitrogen burn the plants, or can. The longer you let it sit, microbiology happens and you can get pretty good soil. Basically composting it with high nutrient density poop

On the road to Sumas this morning, name that yard art! I can't name either, yep that's my finger in the pic, sorry! No good place to pull over on this one, big ditches etc.

Like a baby container killed me still hot in there. Did have some crazy rain here though, bet easily over a inch a hour.
