Lumen...

There will be drama
Oh I can tell you know Lumen lol! Did a "turn up" with them last week, they contracted a guy out, freaked out when the power wasn't AC so I had to wire the -48vdc since "he didn't know DC" what? Then their box didn't have the correct config and with no internet or cellular connectivity it was an over the phone sh*t show, took all day but at least they got it, for this phase

The worst

They forced us to move all the network contracts to them from At$T and it's been a dumpster fire... almost 4 years now, and they still suck.

"Lowest cost, technically acceptable " is ALWAYS miserable

All Telco providers are dropping T1 support/services and have jacked their rates to 6-7K per month, we're getting off of them as fast as we can!

And most of those choke out for backhaul and last mile.... but if you are in if middle of nowhere, they aren't running fiber either.

I think Scott is running 1400 baud modem on a twisted copper DSL line where he is.

My company's fiber footprint is pretty significant but it doesn't go everywhere so still leased stuff here and there just a more modern technology

Could have already been said but RIP Mick Ralphs, died at 81 this week.

MSN
Thank you for posting this, I (being a large Bad Company fan) didn't know Mick Ralph's passing away, his songs he wrote stung me hard and will never forget he was responsible for a bunch of Paul Rodgers sons, (front man and singer for Bad Company) I went to 3 of Bad Company's concerts, and the running with the pack tour was my last in Lakeland Florida at the Lakeland Civic center, I believe Shooting Star was my first 8 track, then it was Bad Company Bad Company.

RIP Mick Ralph's, thank you for all the great songs that molded my childhood and adult hood as I attempted to play many of your songs on my first set of Star Drum kits (wish I still had them because they was gold mettle flake, gold still runs in my life by looking at my 66 Plymouth) Ringo of the Beatles used Stare drum kits, Ringo and I both are July babies.. yep, blessed to have got those drums except didn't play or have them with me except during the long 3 months sometimes more strawberry season in Plant city/Dover Florida..

Thank you for reminding me of my blessings in life @71340Duster

Went to 2 car shows and most were new cars so not really fun.
my friend from Canada came down with his Saratoga and we had a nice drive to the shows and back to my house for dinner and a drink or 2 or maybe 3.

Good stuff!

Well I'm 1 for 2 on the downsizing, miter saw just went down the road, Klipsch subwoofer guy is coming from Mt. Vernon, a good day for the C list flakes!

My old truck sprung a water leak and dumped antifreeze all over the garage floor the other day.
Lower radiator hose was the culprit. The metal pipe was rusted out but lucky me I had a spare in good shape.
