Worth the 20 bucks just for the education for the kid.I went to Downing and grabbed a drawer so I could match up the stain for the bed footboard I repaired. Either the lighting is bad in Menards (YEP) or my eyes aren't all that good. I bought 2 different pints that looked close according to their samples and both were a mile off. I went to the paint store and the young guy is going to try to get closer with a custom blend. He said the old guy that retired after 50 years could match perfectly and he said his match (the young guy) might not be very close. For $20 I will give the lad a chance. I told him he will never get good at it if people don't give him a chance.
My thought exactly.Worth the 20 bucks just for the education for the kid.
He was trying to talk me out of it I first thought but he just wanted me to understand that her may be able to get it close but I shouldn't expect perfection. I told him I am confident he can come closer than the 2 samples I tried. He'll do fine.Worth the 20 bucks just for the education for the kid.
A 24' tandem truck. Probably a couple hundred thousand dollars. Empty. You have to screw a lot of people every month just to make the truck payment. It is not my place to tell anyone how to spend their money. I have plenty of tools from the tool trucks, but there is no way in hell I will pay $750 for a torque wrench.........................A 24' tandem truck. Probably a couple hundred thousand dollars. I paid over $800 for my last paint gun and I'm not sure what the difference in a torque wrench is but spraying a car with a cheap paint gun could cost more in material having to redo it than the good paint gun. Just my 2 cents. It is not my place to tell anyone how to spend their money. I agree Fred, with the right tool for the job...................I paid over $800 for my last paint gun and I'm not sure what the difference in a torque wrench is but spraying a car with a cheap paint gun could cost more in material having to redo it than the good paint gun. Just my 2 cents.

Present company excepted....It doesn't surprise me at all in Maryland...............................
They're building windmill towers north of me and lots of truck traffic hauling blades. They must work really good if a wind could slide the dolly trailer that far in the wind. Or maybe the dolly trailer had a brain fart and decided to clear traffic on the other side of the road. LOLNow there are 102 ways that windmills can screw stuff up.
