Stop in for a cup of coffee

I am doing what is called a pop up concert tonight. So they hire us to guard a band that they won’t tell us who it is at a venue they won’t tell us where it is. They contact us just prior to the event we mobilize and then provide executive protection to the band whom we are assured is just super famous. The whole thing reeks of social media marketing much ado about nothing. I got a beer says the event will be poorly attended and the band is obscure to the point I have never heard of them. And I am a music junkie with a very eclectic play list. Arghh rant over.

It will be fun. A friend got to usher Stevie Nix to the stage decades ago. That was a cool memory.

As long as it's not sone Rap star you're ok.

I am wearing some good ear plugs and soft body armor under my uniform as they do not want any outside body armor showing. They have assured us this is a once in a lifetime chance. I am calling BS on the whole event. All the officers involved had to provide our Bios. They kicked them back and wanted our personal hobbies and what we do for fun not our professional skillset. It reeks of bubblegum.

One more cup of 1.75 caffeine coffee. I will be buzzing soon. I took this photo at the State Fair a few years back.
