Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning everyone. Very busy day yesterday. Seemed everything was an emergency. Makes for a quick day, but it's taxing.

Like I used to say every day as the avionics supervisor "its going to get stupid around here" That was my work Motto!

Saw the frontier predicament. They suck. No cable internet in your area?
No frontier is the ONLY option. I am done with them. As soon as I talk to the local Starlink people, hopefully today I will have that installed.

I don't have any cellular options either, as it's too rural.

I feel your pain for sure. Took me a year to find options here. You on a hill by chance?

Neighbor pulled a slick one. Contacted the cell phone tower people and was interested to have a tower installed due to lack of service in the area. They pay you for it free cell service and run internet to it also. Thought that was slick. Pissed off a ton of the survivalist people on the block. TO MUCH RF RADIATION! Seriously killed it.

This peak, over the back porch roof, faces North...........

No I mean a cell phone repeating tower that the phones in the area will use. I get the dish for the net that would be ideal.

Hard to explain. The cell phone company will install a new tower if the signal is lacking in the area and your property is high enough somewhere. The one that all cell phones tap into.

I have always had T Mobile. Kind of funny in N Iraq our radios took a dump and I still had one bar on my T mobile phone. They ended up using it for coms. Unit paid the bill think it was over 3K that month!!!!!!

We had Verizon for 25 years, until the last couple of years they kept raising the price. We now have AT&T and are very happy with it. AT&T has better coverage here.

I switched over to Tello a few years ago. Uses all the existing towers and so far no dead spots except here. I only use it for Carlisle really and it stays in the truck. Wife uses hers all the time when out. Hell 19.99 a line unlimited talk international and I think 5Gigs of data that rolls over. I never use the data.

Looks like a busy day here for me went down hard yesterday and UPS dropped off three dist to rebuild from Carlisle guys. Hope it does not get to hot in the shop this afternoon, two are dual points and the paint takes forever to cure in humidity. Prob put them in the hops drier since I dont use it any more. Hope the controller still works been a few years......
