When I worked in the Gulf station guy gave me a AMX that was beautiful but had a bad rod knock. Was into bow tie stuff then so what did we do? Revved the hell out of it till the rod broke through the side. If I only knew.........

Fred here's the viewing angle we'll have, I usually look at Baker from the Southeast side, will be on the Northeast side and at a much much higher elevation. Will be weird to see Baker Lake from there I'm thinking.

Been a long time since I been there and it's a wonderful view up there.

Jodi and I had a date night last week, it was my turn to select the venue. I chose the Philbrook museum in Tulsa Ok to look at the traveling Samurai Armor exhibit. The museum is the old home of Phillips oil magnate. It is way past cool. The exhibit was amazing.

My Body Shop/Tow Service buddys had a policy. When lien sale car was destined for the scrap yard they wouldn't send it with a running engine. A little Rambler reached that stage. Hood up, wheel chocks in place, throttle return spring on backwards. Light it up!
"This is taking too long. Give me that wrecking bar!" Off goes the oil filter . 20 minutes later with no oil "This is taking too long. Give me that bar again!" The cooling fan really rattled that bar around after it found it's way through the radiator  then it spit the bar out in Eddy's direction .

Took almost a half hour to blow it with the throttle wide open. Me the idiot should have rebuilt the motor. Was a great car otherwise.

That would have been something to see, crazy!

That little I 6 lost the first rod after about 45 minutes after we began. It just slowed down a little and then picked back up with an obvious miss to it  About 15 minutes later the big one came and we could see the glowing red crank through the newly established window in the block
