Stop in for a cup of coffee

Ok... thought I knew... but rookie question

Does this plate stay on the motor when putting the 90° adapter on?

Huge cinnamon rolls at the cafe. That's a popular breakfast item along with the coffee. The stuffed waffles are quite popular as well.

Didn't take any pictures....but Scott and I got the valves adjusted and everything put back together. Starts immediately with the turn of the key and so much smoother sound now going back to the original valve covers. Given that the rockers were hitting the splash guards in the Commando valve covers, I chose not to try to modify them... they're too hard to find and @memike did such a good job restoring them... They'll wait in the wings in case I ever get to rebuilding that 64 273 that I tore down already.

Did nothing all day, basically watched my buddy change the motor on his boat. So hot, i broke a sweat just breathing.
Stupid dog wouldnt stop running around. She’s beat.

I have mine I took off my 360 and the attaching threaded center bolt in my drawer, so no, take it off and clean/scrape the old gasket under it REAL Good.
Thanks Mike,

All is good with that leak. Got it managed with removing the plate and replacing the bolt washer with a little black RTV added for good measure.

Well, I got the car off the jack stands. Did a short test drive. Not shifting correctly and smoking like crazy...could that be the transmission assembly lube?

Anyhow..back in the garage AGAIN and letting it cool down. Probably done messing with it for the weekend. I have other stuff to get done.

If your oil filter adapter leaks, it will smoke like crazy..
