Last few afternoons and evenings, Lynda has had many customers at the shop so she can't leave and come home with me when I want to go home. I made an executive decision just to come home and make a bacon cheeseburger for myself. Kick back and watch a movie. She'll cruise over here when she's done with customers..

What Happened:
- The Incident: A skydiver jumped from a plane, but his reserve parachute deployed prematurely and got caught on the aircraft's wing/tail.
- The Danger: He was left dangling in the air, unable to use the standard cut-away system for a reserve chute.
- The Solution: He used his hook knife to cut the entangled lines, freeing himself.
- The Outcome: He then deployed his main parachute

Something weird happened for his reserve to get snagged. That should not happen unless he rubbed the reserve ripcord or pack tray while getting out of the aircraft.
The reserve pin is covered by this flap. There is a spring loaded drogue chute under the flap.
Reserve handle is on the front of the harness
Red pillow on the other side is the cutaway handle that releases the main canopy. There's a reserve static line shackle you would need to disconnect to not release the main canopy.
You can't cut away the reserve, which is why he had to use the hook knife

Nice!! Suspension or Body lift? I'm debating a 3 inch body lift on my 78 but I'm reading of interference issues with the manual shifter when I do. So I'm leaning suspension lift.

4” suspension lift. All done with spring mounts. Ramchargercentral.com had the plans. Drop pitman arm, new shocks and had to clearance the front driveshaft yokes for clearance, and drop brake hose brackets. Did this over 20 years ago
