I think he was trying to get to Graham Wa by today. That is basically at the the foot of Mt Rainier. Just outside of Ft Lewis which is now called joint base something or other. In the Tacoma, Puyallup Wa area

Graham is the home of Sunbust, nice Mopar show, been down there a couple times yes just South of Puyallup
