Nice and if you say it kinda fast it sounds like something else lol! Are the menus pretty standard for bfast cafes or do they vary a lot?Discovered another tasty place to eat breakfast. Pho Cay Me. And the bonus is. It's right across the street from one of my favorite cafes. Cafe Xahn Express.

Most breakfast places in Vietnam serve either Pho or Hu Tieu. And even those two are pretty much the same thing. Only difference is the size of the noodles really. I do change up though and I go where they have Bo Bi Tet which is a beef breakfast or I go for Com Suon which is rice with marinated pork chops. And those are a different locations.Nice and if you say it kinda fast it sounds like something else lol! Are the menus pretty standard for bfast cafes or do they vary a lot?

Interested to hear this our little town just had a Vietnamese restaurant open up, only 1. Tons of Thai here but no Vietnamese, gonna give it a tryMost breakfast places in Vietnam serve either Pho or Hu Tieu. And even those two are pretty much the same thing. Yes, the Hu Tieu is basically a soup. There are many different types. When they serve it to you, they will serve it with lime wedges and you squeeze a little lime into it. It will serve you with a dish on of hot Vietnamese peppers and you put in as many as you want. And they will serve a plate with what they call Rau. Which is different vegetables and greens. Add what you want. Make it as hot as you want. I'm getting to the point where I'm adding more peppers the more time I spend here.Hu tieu
The only problem I've experienced in America, eating at Vietnamese restaurants is that the food is not as good as it is here and it is much much more expensive in America. LOLInterested to hear this our little town just had a Vietnamese restaurant open up, only 1. Tons of Thai here but no Vietnamese, gonna give it a try
There is this one place I go to where they specialize in Hu Tieu Tom. Tom is Shrimp. And they are pretty generous. Usually give you six or eight nice size shrimp along with the noodles. They have these little fried like dough (Kim Quan) that they will add to the Hu Tieu. But they get soft in the soup so I always have them give them to me on the side..cost is 60,000 Dong or $2.30 USD. Lol. picHi Tieu sounds good, shrimp and pork with noodles soup, saw some peppers in one too so maybe spicy
I will call him George, and I will hug him and squeeze him and pet him.......
