Agree, just if I was going to spend 20k.
For me. That's not the car I would spend it on.
Personal choice.
I really prefer 64 Darts as far as early cars go. I do like the post cars over the hardtops and the 170 and 270's over the GT's. My 66 was a fun car and I enjoyed it for more than a decade. It was fun to drive but not muvh fun for me to drive as I got older. My Polara fit's me much better as I creep into the 70's and enjoy a bigger car with automatic and power steering. Also, mentally I needed a change. I am excited about the hobby again.

I'm making Elvis sandwiches for dinner tonight.
Toasted rye bread, peanut butter, banana's, Bacon, I'm thinking about adding a nice sliced pickle.

Got a break in the rain and I went to town. Had to stop at the Dunkin' toll booth of course. Sirrius XM channel 15, Jimmy Fallon Holiday Seasoning, good good stuff.
Made my day, rolled down the windows and cranked it up.

Well I "dipped" out 1 hr earlier than my 4 hr. PTO so home around noon. Got the last minute honey do's done, wife and work and son still in Everett so had a minute to catch up. I sent off an inquiry to an Idaho body shop, sent them pics etc. and got on the wait list. I'd love to move my Duster before we move, parts and all and have it being worked on over there as the shop it's in hasn't pulled it out of storage since it went there in August. Engine builder called, should be together next week so I'll have that and the trans to look at plus a bunch of boxes of parts grrr!

Hard for a body shop to do restorations when they make lots more money doing insurance work. I understand the frustration Rich I've had to deal with customers wanting to get their car restored and have to wait for years before the body shop even starts working on them.
If I had the time and energy I'd get your car done but I have all I can handle right now.
Might want to do it yourself because it would be done faster and plenty of us body men on Fabo to help.
