In the bowl is a traditional Tet dish that most of them make. It is pork and hard boiled eggs that are cooked for a very long time and they become almost caramelized. It's actually pretty good except for the fat that's on the pork. She pulls that off for me and gives me the lean meat. LOLGooooood Mornin from Viet Nam !!!!

Made it to Ft, Dodge. @lkopaska The last 30 miles took forever at near zero visibility at times. I see I 35 is closed from Ames to Albert Lea.AmericInn. Mc D's was close. The Quarter pounder and fries was pretty good. Enjoying supper in the lobby in front of the fireplace.

Glad Eagles won, but that was a stupid move by Buffalo to go for the 2-point conversion.I'll be danged.
The receiver was open, he just missed him. Eagles offensive disappeared in the second half.Glad Eagles won, but that was a stupid move by Buffalo to go for the 2-point conversion.

Go back to your Scherer Brothers. Sound like quality may be a bunch better than the Andersons. But knowing how stuff operates, maybe they are all the same. S-I-L bought windows for her town house...$28K! I don't think they have more than we do. Ours were 10K and that included a "bow"(?) window in the living room. Maybe they don't age well. Thanks, Bob!
The windows are actually local: Scherer Brothers Lumber out of Arden Hills (NE of Mpls, and NW of St Paul, more or less). When we bought the place that exact sash was miscolored and damaged due to having been shot with a BB, and one pane was broken. The sash was rotted as well, and I was afraid we were going to have to replace the entire window.
But when I called Scherer Brothers they said they could make a new one that would match perfectly. And they did!
We’ll need new windows in other parts of the house in the next two-three years, and I’ve been looking at Andersen, but they’re high pressure sales tactics (they contact us all the time) are a turn-off for us. May just go back to Scherer Brothers.
But they got the Patriots the Division titleThe receiver was open, he just missed him. Eagles offensive disappeared in the second half.

Except for me. I went over to district one today which is near the city center for some business and then I went to the German restaurant for some Wienerschnitzel. Was quite good..Getting their beauty rest lol!
I know youve mentioned it before. But I'm curious, I was just reading a book that talked about the pure hatred the VC had for Americans and South Vietamese people and the sheer brutality of the war. Are there still any underlying resentments towards America or has the war become a forgive and forget thing?Except for me. still lots of rain out your way?Wow, good luck with all that.
No we're dried out through Friday which is good for those living near the rivers. Besides that flooding event and wind storm this has been a pretty mild winter, hasn't been any day I can remember with frost, no snow etc.still lots of rain out your way?
Not only do they forgive and forget all of it. They do not even teach it in the schools to children. Most people here don't know anything about that war. They welcome Americans especially and all westerners with welcome arms. People here in Vietnam are much friendlier than they are in America. I know this from experience.I know youve mentioned it before. I figured as much. This book was written in 1978 so I'm sure its outdated. Interesting that they dont teach about it.Not only do they forgive and forget all of it.
