I want to here the story behind the car in the first post with the little red head standing in front of it .is it just me or is that an old school slanty hot rod? Sure looks that way with those off center air inlets

Exactly! Even though I love cars restored to original, but I also love the old style customs, they are too often restored to stock....that lace paint and metal flake was true art! Your 69 Daytona is sweet James, but show me custom 69 Daytona's like these and it is still WAY kewl :glasses7:

Can't do that to mine . It only has 14,755 miles on it . I just can't do it . Its amazingly original .
 
Keith,on the money. Mild customs(paintwork,mild shaving),SO work on street machines.
 
Kieth,more 71 RR pics and a 61 Sunbeam Alpine built in the early 80's.Tube chassis,454,Doug Nash 5 spd,9 inch.On the back are 15x12 wire baskets with 3/8 wire.

to late its now FC7 Plum Crazy again with the original engine/trans tracked down and put back in. they took measurments of all the paint work incase they wanted to take it back to this. the decklid, grille and shaker bubble got replaced and the originals are used as display items with the car.
