Serious Mopar history, the Steve Lisk Challenger. Supposedly,Ted Spehar, and Jimmy Addison were involved. Anyway ,a Lenco, and a Hemi went 9:70's,9:80's ,on Woodward/Detroit streets in the mid/late 70's. Love this car.

Gary Kiloffski 's 55 Chevy(arguably the first Pro Street ,77),and his twin turbo Willys. The Willys, still the same nowadays. This car, still, takes my breath away.

I’ve always liked this car! I first remember reading about it in Hot Rod back in the 80’s / 90's…

Looks like it was just sold at an auction in California and only brought $27,500! Anyway this is what the auction house had for a description…

Built by Al Scheib, son of auto paint impresario Earl Scheib, this Pro Street Plymouth is propelled by a monster 488-cid Keith Black hemi through a modified 727 Torqueflite and Gear Vendors 30-percent overdrive. The engine itself has racing heritage, as it was campaigned in the 1970s by Parnelli Jones in a funny car. With the 8-71 BDS supercharger, Hilborn four-port fuel injection and nitrous oxide it has been dyno tested at 3,000 horsepower.

Seen this car (up above),in real life(Pismo Beach car show). To say it is immaculate, is an understatement.
