Who sells forged balanced assemblys @ a descent price and has a good rep. I have a .030 340 ready for an assembly. Will probably use eddy 65cc heads. Would like to be around 10:1 comp.

And really good luck all the machining is right on and the balance job is OK. I would never slap one of those kits together without having a shop double check everything. Bet anything the crank will need touching up and the balance job redone

You should get a unbalance kit and let your friendly machine shop check all the clearances and have them balance it, IMO

Never have had a problem with Scat's balance job. It is important to check all these things and then check the crank runout on the mains when it's in the block.
Always check everything...my last set of Icon pistons we had 5 lefts and 3 rights (valve pockets).

I got a balanced Scat assy from Brian (IMM). Checked everything ourselves and good to go. The crank runout was spot on.

Runs hard. I buzz it to 6K plus. I cruise at 3,8000-4,000 rpm. Ran it on track to 130mph at about 6,000 rpm. I've got about 1200 miles on it since the middle of April.

I've used a good number of Eagle kits only once did I have a problem and that was they put the wrong length rods in the kit. Not once has one ever been out of balance or anything else. Still have to check them everytime just to be sure though.
