EPILOGUE - A Car Show Weekend is what you make it !

The rain missed us and it was a great show. Awesome party, dinner and bonfire at Ross (76orangewagon) and his dad Dave Gordon's on Saturday. Their shop holds at least a dozen cars so a lot of them were inside. Debut here for HemiMark's just finished black Hemi Demon with a 426, hydraulic roller, power steering and A/C under it's flat hood. Under the car was an HDK front end and an Alston Chassisworks forged aluminum trailing arm rear suspension. The second debut was for Bob Wallace's red Dart with an all-aluminum 572 Hemi, dual FAST EFI and a Passon 5-speed. Bob built the entire car himself from the chassis to the paint. It is only street driven - no trailer for Bob. He is prototyping the large tray with four K&N filters in it that seals to the hood and is not yet in it's trimmed and finished final form.

Dave Gordon’s orange Dart Swinger with the Tom Hoover 371 six-pack motor, Jim Bayer’s butterscotch Hemi Demon, Mark Somma’s black Hemi Demon (extreme LR), Denny Laube’s silver Hemi Duster, Dan Hausch’s gold 383 4-speed Duster, Ross Gordon’s black 416 Duster (on lift), Ross Gordon’s orange 340 4-speed Cuda shaker, billboard car and Dave Laube’s green 446 wedge Duster.

Greg Charney’s blue 9-second Dart and Bob Wallace’s red 572 Hemi Dart are parked outside. The Mopar Missile Duster Wire Car is in it’s custom trailer up the driveway.

Yes for sure. Jim was loose on his leash and Sara's presence was sorely missed.
