I have a 68 dart with an 8¾ rear. I just installed super stock springs 002 on the passenger side, 003 driver side. I got around 2½ inches lift and passenger side does sit a touch higher as well. After driving it the rear end is howling pretty bad where as it wasn't before and I noticed that the tire on the passenger side is about ¾ of an inch foreward in the wheel opening compared to the driverside. I reused the original front hangers of the car and enlarged the bolt holes to ⅝. Do I need to shim the passenger side hanger to compensate for the difference? I have yet to check my pinion angle but my eyeball said it looks pretty close to how it was before the spring swap. Any ideas?
