Surprise!!!!!

My Wife got me last night.... We had plans for dinner with my best friend & his family last night and there was a house full of people when we got there. She put together a mini surprise party for my birthday. We had orginally made plans to bring my Mother-in-law over so she could meet our friends and our God-daughter, and instead all of my band members and friends were there waiting for us. It was a nice surprise! We tipped over the pet store onto the grill and feasted on feathers, fins, & fur, Single malt scotch, and a delicious ice cream cake. Gifts ranged from some bizarre t-shirts I'll probably wear on-stage when I play out...to Broadway show tickets & cash from my Mother-in-law. But I did get a cool gift from my buddy and his wife....

BTW: Woke up this morning to find a trail of clothes from the living room to the bedroom.... 8)

My Wife also got me a beautiful pocket watch since I don't like wrist watches or bracelets. The jacket really IS a nice piece.

I highly recommend getting a jacket !
