So i'm planning on my 72 dart swinger with a 360/904 combo to go up front with 1 inch torsion bars from just suspension, rms adjustable upper control arms and adjustable strut rods, and bilstein shocks while i'm converting to the big bolt pattern. I have a ford 9 inch with the leaf spring perches moved in 3 inches and inboard coil overs, disc brakes all the way around, I will also be adding subframe connectors, i'm building this car for the street and want it to be able to take corners fairly well, Is there anything else I should upgrade while i'm in there that will make a substantial difference?

leaf springs will still be there, that's why I stated the perches are moved inboard. The car that I pulled the rear end from already had this setup, I will be mini tubbing the car also and using a fuel cell.

sounds great! should be really fun to drive,. sway bar up front? firm feel has nice ones and kits. I have their rear kit for the a body. I may not even use it depending on how my car shakes out on oversteer. what wheel tire combo you have planned? backspacing?
.

The more you move in the spring perches, the worse it will corner...............

Install a rear sway bar.

Always be sure that the front springs and sway bar are stiffer than the rears.
