Any updates ?? :)

I found a small piece of 1/2" aluminum diamond plate and whittled out a crude top bracket. I also band sawed a different Magnum bracket. It is getting closer to looking like I want.

I am just about to call this done. I still have a little to do on it, but not much. I did add an idler pulley. It turned out looking better than I thought it would.

It's not gonna work very good with that right hand tensioner, you should ONLY have a tensioner on the trailing side.

Update, having driven Yeller quite a bit now, this setup is working great. Running in town with temps in the mid 90s the factory temp gage barely hits the halfway mark. It stays well below the half mark on the highway. I am using a generic aluminum radiator with a magnum clutch fan and no shroud.

The magnum alternator is charging fine even with the '67 type voltage reg. The belt has stayed on with a couple "accidental" 7000 rpm blasts.

All in all, just what I wanted. And, for no dollars spent, just time and parts I already had.
