Swinger fresh air hood ( Air Grabber!)

Has anyone ever seen or converted a Swinger Sport hood into a 68/69 Road Runner like air grabber hood ?
It would be pretty cool.

No, I have not, but I think it would look good. The two body styles have a very similar shape, so I believe it would compliment the 67 and up Dart.

I did around 25 years ago, had some broken air grabber parts from a Road Runner and a messed-up Swinger hood. Really not enough room to use the factory parts easily, but I did make it work with a 383. Was a lot of work and not sure if it was worth it, it still looked like junk but worked. I wonder where it ended up at? I sold the hood at a swap meet and haven't seen it again.

Probably not the most efficient fresh air system but it would be pretty cool.

That car belonged to and was built by a brother of a member on here. Not sure what his name is tho, he might comment on here

I would have made the stripe wider , but it looks damn good , almost factory
