switching to TQ, which intake?

You will be veeeery happy with the TQ. Over the years, I have fitted/modified TQs to fit maaaany different brands of engines without needing an adapter. Adapters can hurt flow & can be a problem with bonnet clearance. I try to avoid them at all cost. How successful this is depends on how creative/inventive you are.

For the intake, I would use the AG you have. There is just enough 'meat' in the TQ mounting feet to re-drill them for the Holley mounting pattern. The only real problem is the right rear air valve dashpot mount. You will have to modify the mounting bracket to get it fit. The t/bore openings in the AG will need to be opened up for the TQ. If the passages in the TQ base are going to cause a leak, fill them with epoxy & file down for a flat leak-free finish.
