Just thought I’d share this, it might save someone some money.
I have a T56 magnum in my car that had an American Powertrain speedometer cable in it. The cable decided to snap the other day when I dumped the clutch at a high rpm.
A new cable from American Powertrain is about $150. I found this cable on Summit for $12. ATP Automotive Y-801 ATP Speedometer Cables | Summit Racing
It’s for a Ford C4 or C6 trans. Works great if you have an aftermarket speedometer with the 5/8 threaded end like me.
