Funny the tach mount is made by a guy that lives 15 minutes from my house. He has a Hemi Superbird.

used an old exhaust bracket from my powerwagon, undercoated, 1/8 inch plate steel, mounted to the lower side of my dash via one of the two studs that the u clamp for the steering column support bolts to. pretty solid. Also, does anyone out there have any idea who made this tachometer? i tore it apart and theres no names or brands or manufacturers info anywhere...

Here's mine. Had to massacre a stock cluster to do it but I like the way it came out.

Here's mine. It came with a rubber gasket for between the bracket and whatever you bolt it to. It seems to prevent the screw from rattling out.

Used to be /6 3 on the tree. I welded the linkage in place at the bottom of the collumn and put my tach on the shifter mount. Sorry about the dusty dirty pics but you get the idea.

When I was younger(back in the 80's), I had three street cars: a 70 340 dart, 69 superbee and 65 426 coronet 500. I had wired each one with a harness like the one below and taped the plug under the dash near the steering columns in all three cars. and wired the tach with the matching end so I could swap the tach from car to car at any time.
