Hey FABO, I need some guidance on my rear tail lights.

Car is a 70 Duster. I bought aftermarket gaskets that go between the tail light housing and the tail panel. When I installed the tail lights, the gasket bulges out of the corners.

The gasket fits well on the tail light housing, but I'm not sure about the thicknesses. Or is this just a case of 1970 tolerances?

I'm hoping someone can post a couple of pics of their tail lights installed with factory gaskets, so I can see if these are anywhere close to correct.

Also, is there supposed to be any gasket along the middle section, between the upper and lower lense?

Hopefully the pics will explain it better...

I'm not making a plug for Year One, but I bought some gaskets for my '70 Swinger (different model, I know), and they were spot on. I'd check with Van's, too. Good parts, fair prices. Paul.

Has your car had the sheet metal replaced back there?
