If you want to use that extra fuse spot on the switched buss for radio and tach, proper clip terminals can be found used and new.'

As you guys used the same type of fuses maybe similar clips for other makes/models is more readily availbale on your side of the pond.

Ah fantastic, thank you!!!

Yes, the W slot in the bulkhead connector goes to the backup light connector and looks to be spliced with the power supply to the turn signal flasher. Check that wire and the radio fuse (the source of power for that circuit) for juice. You can also run a jumper wire (for testing purposes) from a battery source to the black wire terminal on the flasher to see if the turn signals now work. One or both of those tests should show what the problem is.

Just checking the switch and there appears to be a ripped wire. It doesn't look super fresh but it also doesn't look like it's meant to be like that either haha.

What does this top wire do exactly?
Trying to see where it was cut from but there doesn't appear to be any wire hanging around?

It's purple in colour by the way.

I don't see a purple ("V" violet) wire in my wiring diagram of the turn signal switch. My diagram shows a white for the brake lights, brown for the RR, dark green for the LR, red for the turn signal flasher, pink for the emergency flasher, tan for the RF, light green for the LF, and black for the horn. I've listed these in order from one end of the turn signal harness connector to the other.

Anything is better than skotch loks. Actually fuses do NOT always blow from too much current. Another cause is HEAT from LOOSE connections. This can be a bad wire connection at the fuse, or a loose/ corroded fuse clip itself. "Once in awhile" a bad fuse, but rare. Certainly not a couple / three in a row.

I used to post specific stuff like this for you guys all the time. I'm not going to do so much anymore. Learn to read the manual. Get into it and look through it. Find out how to read it. "It's all in there"

Refer to your manual, it tells you the function of all the wires

By the way that is on HELL of a great lookin car

Thank you and thank you for all the responses. I will update this thread when I've fixed it!

Okay problem fixed!

After a bit of looking around under the dash I found a wire which was a permeant live. Hadn't noticed it before and had some trouble finding the other end as it had somehow managed to rip itself apart inside a ton of electrical tape, don't ask how it came apart as I have no idea. :wtf:

However using a multimeter I found that it was indeed connected to the flasher unit, fixed the wires back together and hey presto the turn signals now work!

Thanks for all the help everyone.
