I talk to myself all the time. I am the only one who will listen. If I am going to be ridiculed and ignored it might as well be by me.

All the time.. but it's usually calling myself a piece of **** non stop.... other times it's just saying "you are going to regret this" and i still do whatever it is...

Specific to the car...I generally have a running dialogue with the universe as I'm working. Helps me to work through stuff by saying it out loud, you have a chance to reply "That's a stupid idea"

When I drive I talk to myself somewhat often accept at a stop lights the rest of the time there's usually a convo going on in my head but rarely talk to myself out loud.

I rarely talked to myself out loud, but the thoughts are constantly going on in my head. And I think about my little girl (Shih Tzu) and I wonder what she's thinking about.
When I'm thinking, it's in words or language. I can't imagine how I could think without word's. But since she doesn't have a language of words, I wonder how she thinks about things. She seems to understand some of my words or expressions.

If I don't want an argument, I talk to myself, but then I get stupid, and tell her what I was talking about.

I talk to myself and when I want a correct answer, I also reply. I also talk to my dogs every day, and while they don't know english, they do sometimes often have some form of response, usually more interesting and intelligent than any response I get from the dummies I work with.

Sort of, when I talk to the wife, it's like talking to myself. But that's okay she knows I'm going to do what I'm gonna do.

I was arguing with myself other day. I said I needed another project, but the other "I" said I did not. SOooo... I got another project but now I am not sure who this car belongs to!?????? Answer: Whoever pays for the darn parts!!!
