I am just enjoying a piece of toast. But the thing is, it is homemade bread. My wife loves to bake and ever since she got a Bosch, she regularly makes bread and cookies! I love it........just sayin'.

You have to send all of us samples so we can do a taste test. Sounds like she is enjoying use it.
I'm not buying the wife nothing this year for Christmas. See didn't use what i bought her last year-------------a cemetery plot!

I don't know a thing about "those things" but I see one hell of a lot of 'em in thrift stores, so either people don't use 'em much or there's a lot of 'em that aren't worth squat.

I hope we get just a little snow this year. The lady up the road bakes home made bread, and it's so good it will make your tongue slap your brains out! Every time I take my tractor and scrape the snow out of her driveway, she brings me a loaf of bread, hot out of the oven.
I forgot to mention....the Bosch is a mixer, not a dedicated bread machine. It just takes away the need to knead! So the labor part of baking is gone. When she makes cookies, which are generally chocolate chip (my fave), she makes 15 dozen! Now that my son has moved out I actually get some! And yes there is nothin' better than homemade bread toasted and slathered in real butter....mmmmm

When mailing baked goods, if you wrap them up good then pack them in a box filled with plain popped popcorn they will arrive in good shape and taste like they have barely cooled off! When I was in advanced training in the Army I was sent a loaf of whole wheat bread and it was so good that I only got a few bites of it!
Honey oat is our favorite too. I bake up some rye for some reubens every now and then. It is all good with a nice roast made with Lipton onion soup mix and of course potatoes, onions, carrots, and mushrooms. Have fun with it! tmm

Butter nut oatmeal bread for me please, I have not had home made bread in a few years, seems like it was on Christmas a few years back my mother inlaw made, YUMMY yum yum for sure .
