Hi Folks,
I found what I think is a great solution to the motor mount question that all of us with small blocks in an early A-body. I put together the info in a PDF and it's up on the Early Cuda web site in the tech section.

That looks like a slant six truck now from the mid-late 70s I mentioned it before but it's thicker

Jim, if you don't mind, how thick is the mount you ended up using. The one in the picture? Including the metal plates on top and bottom.

Jim I’m running into an issue of the motor mount stud being too close to the k frame to bolt it up. It looks like because the studs on the motor mount are not offset it doesn’t allow room to bolt it to the k frame on my application I’ve got a 360 in a 1965 Valiant using the 273 mount brackets. Did you not have this issue?

360 using 273 mounts will not wuite bolt up unless you shim them. your issue is fore/back or up/down?

Glad I stumbled across this as I was planning on ordering what I saw on Mancini’s site. Thanks for posting this! Can I ask what headers you are using?
Hooker headers - from the late 80s, I believe. If I stumble across a part number somewhere, I'll reply again.

No, I didn't have any issues like that. Once I found this mount, the only issue was having to drill the new locator hole in the engine bracket.
