How can you write a tech sheet that covers every aspect of installing high ratio rockers?

It would be damn near a book. It’s not a one size fits all install. He has no clue on valve stem height or anything else.

That’s insane to think he should write detailed instructions to install the rockers.

Oh yeah...if it is so complicated, why wouldn't there be at least a suggestion to check his website to download a PDF of the installation?

I just took a Quick Look at his rocker costs. I saw a little over 1300 bucks. Could be more expensive rockers but that was the most expensive ones on the first page.

Come on, man....I was ready to give you some slack since it does seem like you try to help some people but it sure looks like you're doing the same things that got you in trouble here before.
I had to IGNORE that "Yellow Rose" guy because the argumentative theme that you seemed to often have.
Confidence is great but it is better when coupled with a bit of humility.
You continue to bash the OP while leaving no room to consider that it wasn't an "Inability" on his part but more of a lack of desire to pull the heads to make the modifications. It sucks to think you're right on track then get surprised by some part that (without any warning) only fits by modifying something else.
What you seem to miss is that not everyone is on the same level of skills or experience.
For an example....
I'm taking an introductory welding class at the local Junior college. Some students have had some experience before, most have not. We are all there to learn. Some guys can't even read a tape measure but are well versed in other things. I've welded off and on since the late 80s. I was a Carpenter for 36 years so measuring and layout is old hat to me. I don't insult the other students for what they don't know. I'm one of the biggest smart asses you could ever meet but I try to read the room and act accordingly. I don't insult those that are disabled or those that are trying to learn.
The OP wasn't warned or advised of a fitment issue. YOU think that everyone should know to expect that but clearly, that isn't correct. I didn't know either. I'm no idiot, I just haven't encountered it yet to learn from it. Would you berate a Chevy guy that rebuilds his first Mopar and makes a few missteps? The man may be absolutely rock solid with 350s and 454s but this Mopar engine is uncharted territory.
I won't IGNORE you yet, I'll see if you make efforts to help people more than annoy them. You do seem to have a great amount of knowledge that can help many other people. Unfortunately, your occasional rude comments are exactly why the OP started this thread about Dave Hughes.

You know how I got my experience... by trying something and making a mistake and fixing it... i always call the professionals that I buy my products from for advice. On how to use them...
When I call TED and n at Portland engineering builders, he takes the time to talk over all the different aspects of what I'm i'm asking for and the same plan at Oregon cam grinding. He'll be on the phone with me for twenty minutes or more.If it, that's what it takes to make sure I understand everything.. completely walked me through degree in my cam. Does a matter of fact He's the one who brought up the subject and made sure.I knew everything before he let me off the phone...
D*** head Dave, told me to run my rocker up eighth inch gap underneath the shaft.. and was short with me on the phone like I was bothering him...

Dave is responsible because he didn’t idiot proof everything for every situation and every variable that could happen.

It’s silly really that full grown men are blaming a guy for something that is clearly not his problem.

If you listen to guys like Jpar you can tell why. They blame Dave because they are in the same boat as the OP. They don’t have the skills to do the work so they blame the parts.

When I was first selling parts here, I had a set of Lakewood traction bars up for sale. I listed the part number and actual pics of product. Looking up the part number, you would know that they didn't fit a Mopar. I never claimed or stated that they DID fit a Mopar. I took it for granted that most buyers check out stuff on their own. I had completely overlooked the Non-Mopar for sale section. Quite honestly, didn't even knew it existed at that point. J-**** comes on reaming me a new one, calling me a crook because I'm trying to pass that **** off as fitting a Mopar. Didn't even say hey there's this section to put them in. Just called me a crook right away. I called him a liberal pussy then. Imagine my surprise when I started checking out the N&P and caught some of his rantings over there.
I give people the benefit of the doubt, they can be a LOT different in person when they get out from behind the keyboard. Not him. I'm pretty sure we would not be friends.
