After a 1 1/2 of work my 1970 Duster is almost ready to drive.
I Drag Raced the car for about 10 years, so all the street equipment was removed and it was alot of work to put it back!

I installed new AMD floor pans
Magnum Force front tie bars
Custom dash & wiring -done by Joe Luis who is very talented body man
New engine 360 ci -lD340 intake .525 soild cam, 10.5 ported J heads with 2.02 valves.
New Passon 4 speed
8 3/4 3.23 with a true track
Hotckis rear springs & adjustable strut rods
4 wheel disc brakes
Here are few pictures of my progress and I am pretty proud of doing all this myself and never new how to weld before this started.

Very nice build so far and definitely liking the dash as well. What steering wheel do you have there?

Few more pictures -I had a friend show me the basic of welding and I just played with scraps of metal and then started on the car.

I have to say I havent seen round stock sub frame connectors. Did you install these? I assume they serve the purpose just as well as the rectangle tubing I see most guys use?

No I did not install them, I had friend with chassis shop install them years ago. He always used round tube , not sure why?

They are 2006 charger base steel wheels and I added the center caps , paint and trim rings. They are 17x8 factory wheels

I drove her for the first time , it was a blast with the four speed I forgot how much fun they are!
