The Sonoramic Commando Intake?

IIRC, the long ram was available in 1960-61. That would mean that they would only fit the RB version of the 383. There is no issue with the 413 because it was always a RB engine.

IIRC, the Eddie short ram manifold for the LA engine is the STR 12. $$$.

Sure is a LOT different to see a LA or Mopar small block cross ram intake. that musta produced some ****-n-git on any of them it fit on!

Now with that one, would it fit a 318? I would say no, but......I've been told crazier things Ma Mopar did!

B and RB bolt patterns are the same. The width of the valley is different.

how did they get the one intake to cross mount to either head?

The heads are essentially the same. The only head fit issues in any factory B / RB engine in all the years they were ever made is.........

The early heads did not have the rocker shaft saddles. They had a separate piece that supported the rockers

Earlier heads had 4 bolt? covers

The ports on the "max wedge" engines were so gigantic that intakes and heads pretty much don't interchange with non- max top ends. "Max" is an entirely over-used term. Half the junk 413s and 426s that "show up" are supposed to be a "max wedge." NOT. Maxies can be EASILY id'd by the lack of a heat crossover and the huge ports. Maxies only came with one (type of) intake.......a one piece crossram.

Other than than, you can take most any 361--440 head and "slap" it on most any B/ RB, other than piston / valve interferance

The only thing interconnecting these "sono" manifolds was the throttle linkage, and a piece of hose between the balance ports.
