What was the breaking up issue?
They used to be great in NHRA, but they're too far from original now, for my liking.
Those mechanical tachs were the best. In a 6 pack car I raced (and any of my cars with aftermarket tachs), I installed them with the shift point at 12:00.

Somebody posted this the other day. Can anyone explain the apparent serious drop in oil pressure at high RPM??

Yeah that was strange. It dropped at the burnout, and then at top end it was around 35 lbs. at 7,000 rpm's, not good.
