Can the .025 be used on closed chamber also??????

sure...I even use them with eddy aluminum heads....

Piston to head is the question.

If you have a (0) decked piston then .025 is not enough piston to head clearance.

Edit: i guess i should add....."With a closed chamber head"

As long as you've got a minimum of .035" piston to head clearance your fine. In other words with a .025" gasket and closed chamber heads the piston needs to be .010" in the hole.

BTW: some guys claim they even run with less piston to head clearance but your pushing it going much less than .035" IMO
