Rich H has long been in the journalism biz. Since the times change, he changed. The big break for him was the “Big Bang” engines he did. So he just hopped on that and kept rolling. That video was a huge hit and got that whole thing going strong with its popularity.
I love it when he does the “Other Guys” videos. It helps keep the verity and entertainment up.

Dominator, on a 1 barrel stock intake?
He might have it going on, but that was not his finest moment.
I think it was valuable info, no one expects dominator to work well, but it did show it takes a lot to over carb and I think he’s right if he had a 4bbl intake the results would of been slightly better.

He makes money on hits. No one put a Dominator on a L6 and published it so he did. Smart, dumb, both? Not dumb in my opinion, actually quite sharp. I give it a thumbs up. Now..someone give him a slant to play with. If I had a Dyno, no 8-5 job and random $$ money coming in I'd test anything I could to get views. That's his income now (likely).
Plus the Dominator wasn’t the main focus of the video it’s just a throw away test mainly was 2bbl and 4bbl and header, the Dominator obviously is for clicks, lots people probably care less what a 2bbl and header does to a stock straight 6, I do but most probably don’t, most probably watch for his turbo shows but I find them least interesting, you basically know what boost and or nitrous will do.

If you had a dyno and nothing but time and parts without money worries or anything else... yes, you’d be testing dumb stuff as well. I know I would.

Yea, I figured someone owned stock in his u boob channel.
I put a 750 DP on a super six once. I used the 2bb-to-4bbl- adaptor. Wasn't any faster than the 2bbl carb but ran, idled and performed well.Well that solves it,gonna put a dominator on my slant just cause it looks cool.

In the mid 70's there was a local tube chassis Chevy II with a 292 and two fours that ran high 6's in the 1/8. He was always in the money it seemed.
