ok need thoughts and opinions, i can decide on what engine i want to put in my 1969 Barracuda notch, right now it has a 318 with 904 thinking about going with either a 383 or just going insane mod and putting a 440 six pack thoughts and opinions please

Jack.I guess the answer would be in what you want from the car.Race car, big block would be my choice.Street strip I would run a hot little 340 or 360 and the 904.My opinion on what I would do with the car if I were fortunate enough to own it would be a hot small block and a 4 speed.To me it just doesnt get any better than that.

Depents on your budget, I'd go with an aluminum headed big block..

I wouldn't waste money on a 383. They're worthless like 318's only 200 lbs heavier.
