The lever on the transmission is longer on the 1 pc. rod that it is on the 3 pc. setups. They will not interchange correctly. The 999 was introduced on the 1974 360 2 bbl. So the 74 to 78 999's are the best ones to find. In 1978 they came out with the lock-up, although not all 78 360 999's had lockup. And the 999's did not get the low gear set until the mid 80's. By then all lock-ups. I'll try to get some pictures up with the AVS and the TQ throttle brackets and upper rods tonight
