Cudaspaz, that car is freakin great!!!! I hope that i can get my dart done one day to look as good as your car!!!!!!!!!

Wow :tongue9: What a change :blob: You have made a good move again cudaspaz.:salute:

I could just look at it for hours.
The motor and seeing it with all that shine
makes this a grade A job you have put together.

I see you put mine and my wife Treva's initials on the valve covers hehe!!

Outstanding move spaz I like it better like it is know,

I have to agree with everyone on here, That is one of the sharpest looking Cuda on here. You have done a mighty fine job on it. look forward to seeing it done, as I am sure oyu are too...

Well thanks guys, lotsa help from good friends is what made this car what it is.
And I can't wait till my *** puckers when I finally get to drive this little, 4 spd, wicked small block.

You will, it will probably be even better than mine, it just takes time, patience, money, and lots of mistakes.

You forgot, money, money, money, bandaids, money and...did I mention? Money :)

Looks AWESOME!

Looks AWESOME!

That's why it takes so long for us non wealthy guys to build our cars, then you gotta add vendor screw ups, crooked body shops, life in general, oh man, the list goes on and on.

Here's a better pic showing just why it was probably a good idea to drop it down a bit.

I would have had to put a sign on the back stating: "Stay back 100 feet, driver not responsible from objects coming from road."

Just get some wheelie bas and you will be fine lol

A fine looking specimen. I totally agree with you on the time it takes to build a car. If done right, it's also a great investment, (I keep telling my wife that). Howard

Looks good now. Nice work, Spaz. I could see the car getting out of hand pretty quick sitting that high.

I know what you mean about being "stoked". I just had my engine dyno'ed last Saturday. I would rather be working on my car than going to Thanksgiving! Ah well. There's still Friday and Saturday. Sundays are reserved for "family time".

I like the old Mickey Thompson valve covers.

I had 3400# manual trans springs in mine until I figured out that those were better for an off-road truck. Now I have the 002/003 SS springs. I hope these don't sit too high.

What leaf springs do you have?

I got the same springs as you, but the car is minitubbed and the relocation kit welded up.
You car should be way up there with the high arch springs, but an easy fix with one call to mancini racing, just make sure you get the longer U-bolts.

The lowering blocks take about 10 minutes to install for a very quick, easy fix.

Thanks for the great comments guys, and I like the photoshopped wheels.

I also have some bugs to work out including a rear main seal leak, trans leak at worn seal rub spot at the input shaft that needs a repair sleeve, and a couple other pain in the butt things but I'm getting there with each little baby step.
I just hope the government don't put a stop to these old cars by the time I finally get it ready to hit the streets.

Just 1 quick question. I am looking at the new 4 link rear suspension from Reiley Motorsports. Is it necessary to disassimble and clean the rear after welding?
