Stripping bolts since ‘10
Everything's back together and seemingly running strong, thanks for the help everyone! Took longer than what I wanted but life and waiting for parts got in the way. I ended up getting the matching retainers from Hughes because those retainers I got from ebay were nowhere near being correct. When hitting the cylinders with compressed air while I was replacing the springs/retainers ALL of the exhaust valves leaked. Intake valves sealed just fine.
Which is kinda surprising to me because I lapped all the valves when I was assembling this engine awhile back and they seemed to seal up on the bench when spraying the ports with wd-40. It's just one of those things I'm going to have to save for some aftermarket heads to fix that problem because I don't want to spend any money getting a valve job on stock magnum heads.
