I scraped by again. Only a short 30 min drive to total destruction. Your prayers are needed. Just heard there were 7 small children in the basement of an elementary school hiding from the tornado. Only to drown when the basement flooded. TERRIBLE.

My oldest daughter lives in chickasha same town as fj5,I've been staying in touch with her most of the day and listening to the xm radio hoping it would miss them but at the same time my heart aches for the lost souls and there families ,there just seems to be so much trajedy here lately ,especially to our little ones . DB

News said 101 people have been rescued across the city that were trapped in storm shelters or cellars, These people couldn't get out due to debris pile up, so some more good news, hope more are found alive.

Currently the number of dead has been down graded to 24 according medical examiner.
