on the 66 Dart with the old 9in drum brakes, just replaced the front end. I am now reinstalling everything and wonder how tight I need to make things.? Like Tie rods , etc... Also how tight to get struts and the shaft bit. I have the owners manual but cant seem to locate LBS for these things. I did find 50LBS for the Idler arm. although the new Idler arm is a completely different design than the original, with some weird washers and bearings and grease fittings?.

Help please. Car is up on jacks, no load. everything is finger tight and ready to be tightened.
thanks

rebound stop nuts.................25
crossmember bolts................150
idler arm mounting nuts...........45
shock absorber lower mounting....50
shock absorber upper mounting....25
steering knuckle bolts (lower)....100
steering knuckle bolts (upper).....55
drag strut nut (front)...............40

Google search showed it here on FABO of course. :D

One caveat..........for several years, the torque figures in the FACTORY service manuals were wrong for rocker shaft bolts. Take the time to learn a bit about common sizes and types of fasteners. There are grade 5, grade 8, common NC (course) thread, and common NF (fine) thread. Does 30-some- foot lbs see "reasonable" for a grade 5, 5/16 NC bolt? Of course not.

You can find torque settings for standard types fasteners 'all over' the internet. We used to actually have to look this stuff up in books LMAO

Available information is the best thing about the internet, and the takeover of all the flippin commercialism is the worst part.
Ever notice how some browsers won't even let you navigate a page till the ads load, and even worse that some of the ads take a long time to load?
Just can't get away from the damn commercials anymore, even on your phone.
New cars, dick pills, dick pill girls, your taxes, want to re mortgage?, scams, on and on.
Used to be ZERO commercials and very few ads on the internet and it was even text only (no pictures, video's or anything) in the beginning but most are to young to remember it.

Can I ask, what is the Lower control arm pivot nut? Do you mean the shaft?

I also have another question about the Cam bolts in the upper control arm bushings. One side of the car had them installed with the welded cam on the inside. The other side of the car had it installed on the outside. I figured putting the welded cam to the outside would make it easier to adjust. So that's what I did for both sides. But now in the manual I found a diagram showing the welded Cam suppose to be on the inside? Is there any difference?
