So i have to go get the my dart this wednesday from my Aunt's home. She hasn't had time to get us the keys but needs the car off of the property in order to have some room. The car is unlocked and i have a trailer i'm just confused as to how I'm going to get this thing onto said trailer since it is in park and I don't have the keys to take it out of park. Would disconnecting the drive shaft to the job or is there something easier I can do?

Disconnect the shifter linkage maybe. Dont know what Dart you have. Locking steering wheel ?

If you're referring to the 66 Dart you posted about in your Welcome Wagon thread, you don't need a key. Steering wheel will turn and gear selector doesn't lock on those...

Piece of cake LOL

Drop the drive shaft. If the steering wheel is locked and the front wheels are turned load the back first. Do you have a floor jack and a come a long?

Yes its the 66 Dart sedan I referred to in my "Hello!". Sorry I should've posted that. The gear selector doesn't lock?? Thats somewhat funny. I do have a comealong and a winch and a floor jack. My friend owns a few 69 GTO's and has a lot of goodies in the shop there. So I can drop the driveshaft easily if its locked into gear? I know how to do this since I've towed a few 4x4's halfway across the US.
