I have a 67 Barracuda. I am installing 68-69 front and back window gaskets and trim. Any sugestions on installing the trim clips? spacing locations and depth? I am worried about not having the clips in the right places and the trim won't lock down or look good.

Thanks for advice

When i took the windows out of my Dart the trim clips are put in with screws.you should be able to replace the clips and screws and use the same holes. remember to use stainless screws.

67 did not have trim clips they just had a plastic molding that wedged in the gasket. this stuff cracked and faded.

i wish i could take a pic to show you on mine, somebody here has got to NOT have thier window trim on yet.

According to the valliant project in mopar muscle magazine they did it the following way; To install the clips, drill holes for the clip retaining screws in the windshield opening at the center point from the interior lip to the outside edge of the opening. Holes were drilled in the center because the clips have a slotted groove and can be adjusted in or out for the trim to fit flush when finished You will find the article with good pictures of the process at www.moparmusclemagazine.com select the project cars tab and scroll to the bottom and select page 3. It is the first article on page 3. Hope this helps!

i could take pictures showing factory clip locations on a 68 notchback if that helps.
