1964 Valiant V200
does anybody make trunk drops for a 66 Dart? Have rust issues and have AMD lower quarters to install but the trunk drops are not good. Thanks.

I just saved the left side drop from a 65 barracuda, not sure if it's the same, maybe someone can chime in
No one makes them and the Barracuda drops are not the same. I have been down this road with my 66. I bought a pair of nice ones from Desert Valley Auto parts. I don't know for sure but 63-66 should be the same.
If you are handy, you (or your body man) can fashion patches. I haven't seen photos of what you have but usually the lower few inches are rotted and you really don't need to replace the whole thing.

There is a father-son team near me (between Folsom and El Dorado Hills) who disassembles Mopars and has many early-A parts. I've bought a few from them. They list on the Sacramento Craigslist (perhaps other places). I have seen their ads for A-body sheet-metal, things like roofs and quarter-panels. Since CA, most is pretty rust-free. Shipping cost hurts.
FYI for all early A-body owners who are going to be needing the "trunk drop" extension panels......
I personally spent "a couple of days" carving out and cleaning up the trunk extension panels for the 63-66 Dodge Dart....AND the 63-66 Plymouth Valiant/Barracuda....THANK GAWD for flapper discs, cutter wheels, and sharp spot-weld cutters!!!!!!!!
These factory pieces from donor cars were delivered to our metal stamper here in the USA so they can create the tooling and get these panels stamped out and available for the market. At the present time, I do NOT have a hard 'n fast ETA on when they will be ready to be shipped out, but we are working on it as I write this post.

Thank you Rick. Looking forward to dropping 400 bucks on these. Your products are outstanding. I have a 66 Dart, have the lower quarter patches already. I will keep an eye out for the notice in the vendor section.
