Do you think this would cause some vibration? I'm going to take a blunt air hammer bit to it and hope I can get some clearance without having to dismantle anything. I already have new Schumacher mounts and shims trying to resolve the driver side steering gear clearance issues and I still had to dent the downpipe.

I'll double check level again but I don't know how you can change anything other than shimming which I did. Everything else is stock.
I believe TTI has specs such as distance center of balancer to K Frame and center of balancer from each frame rail. I had to shim my motor mounts both sides to get mine to TTI specs. My TTI long tubes clear everything zero dents. I also ran 340 manifolds and 2 1/2 TTI head pipes zero dents.

I had to clearance a couple of tubes on both the driver & passenger sides of my header tubes because I changed from the OE torsion bars to larger aftermarket ones.

Park next to a tree. Wrap a ratchet strap around the header and the tree, and pull the header away from the torsion bar. No heat should be necessary.
Back in 80s I pulled up to a tall curb then used wood and bottle jack to push header in to clear torsion bar. It worked.

Is this with the factory exhaust manifolds? I'm in the same situation.

Not sure if it helps, but here's pics of 67 cuda 340 with hipo manifolds and 2 1/2" tti down pipes. I can fit my hand around factory sb torsion bars easily.

TTI Pipes on my 74 Duster with Manifolds are not too close to the Bars, but I have factory spool mounts

The engine is level within a degree. I’ll just ding the pipe.

I didn't have clearance issues with the torsion bar, but I did with the steering box with the slant 6 TTI down pipe before I went with headers. I spent about an hour removing the down pipe, cutting about 3/4" off just under the manifold flange and welding it back on. Raised the pipe up just right for plenty of room. Maybe something similar can work for you? Sure would look a lot neater than air chisel hack marks.

TTI doesn't always get it right. We bought a set for a GEN-III and a SB727. When installing them, the rt collector ran right into the transmission. Fortunately, we were at my exhaust guy's shop doing assembly work on the car. He just modified the collector and rewelded it. Number 1 was an issue, also. Still...their stuff ain't cheap. It is cheaper than a custom set of one-off headers, though.

It doesn't bother me too much that its not a perfect fit. I do scratch my head a little as the car is stock but they are just not made for large pipes.

I'm going to have a look and see whether a transmission mount shim would help.

Here's a pic of my passenger side. I can't even slide a piece of paper between the two. I'm also worried about the heat transfer to the torsion bar. Could that affect the TB? I'll probably remove the downpipe and put a crease in it like on the driver side.

Thats what it needs. I wonder if I can compress the H pipe a bit more. Again, I'm going to have another look.
