Any ideas or recommendations, dimple the header and shave the joint ? Not sure about steering box either.
It's a demon with a 340 and auto trans.

mine dropped in no problem, manual steering, 340 on spool mount with auto. Did you already follow the tti instructions for centering the engine and moving the shift linkage?

its at a shop getting installed, i get on my back and my vertigo kicks in (get insanely dizzy) i asked them if they measured the get it centered and have a set of schumacher engine shims coming.

Ya mine hit box, ground bolt down. Hit idler arm, ground it and still hits sometimes. I gave up. Next time i go dougs

You said TTI race headers. What is the tube diameter and part number?

There's a lot more that one set of TTI headers for a small block.

Mine hit in the same spots 71 demon, they could be better for the money that's for sure.

You can slide the column to the outside if you loosen the bolts in the firewall. Loosen the 3 bolt plate. If you open up the holes it will go even further.

The steering box can be moved as well using the same process.
