No, its just that I don't gamble. I have lived 2 hours away from Atlantic City all my life, never set foot in a casino...:) Actually who knows, if Uncle Tony can actually keep that thing from falling apart and with the Nitrous, he may just do it. 10.99 is a fancy way of saying 11. I could see him doing it by dumb luck.( the temp is right, the nitrous button and shifts are all at the sweet spot, who knows What is the timeline, whenever he does it? or is he going to do it by 2023 or wha? I have a feeling even if he grenades it trying hell still be a hero?

Does Uncle Tony have any T shorts in "Grey" LOL! that black is painful to look at especially in the summer...I have worn navy blue when I was a line tech, so I get that dark colors hide the dirt but dern..in my home garage I wear white or gray and wear it till its crudded out...I actually have a white lab coat i wear when working the spray paint guns...:)

  • It's been planned from the beginning that he would grenade a 318 or three, so when it blows up, it was in the plans.

I get it. Its entertainment. it seems to me it would have been done by now though. there would be someone in this thread making sure we knew also.

Uncle Tony cant do it on the cheap... speed costs money. He knows it, we know it...(well some of us do...) This will be more of a "I built up a cheap 318 and blew it up with squeeze" I'm sure that has been done before...:)
 
5 HP on a 250 hp motor...2%? Get more running an electric water pump or putting Rob's 'Mr Horsepower' sticker on the closed vent window...

UTG wont do it because it cant be done on the cheap... speed costs money that hasn't changed since the beginning of ET trials. Even an old hot rodder had to buy a Cadillac or Lincoln engine to get advanced power, the Caddy/Lincoln engine wasn't free or cheap in the 1940s...

Do me a favor, will you? Flip through that sometime and take note of how many engines were available with aluminum blocks? I remember them having a LOT. Bu tthis was their catalog from like the late 70s or very early 80s so I don't know if that catalog you have they still had all that in it or not.

Yeah, but the thing is, that modded 318 poly crank was probably right enough to run 9s with. They didn't sell junk. While their SSI cam line certainly wasn't "the best" as far as grinds, they weren't junk, either. They were about on par with everybody else's off the shelf grinds of the day. I loved PAW.

Well, we all knew damn well it wasn't gonna be 50 extra HP. lol Such a small amount, you could just rev one a little more and get the same results. lol Still a positive result though, like Vizard said.
 
Say what you want about UTG….this thread is 10pg’s long and going strong. He wins and you lose, his content good or bad has you all hooked. Haha!!! He has a captive audience because you either love it or love to hate it. Marketing 101…just like Mark Worman. The controversy/drama draws the biggest crowds and followers.
 
I dont see anything UT has that I want. Except possibly his 68 Road Runner which I would immediately go over it and take it down for a repaint...he screwed it up with that Kilz under the hood...he makes too many videos,so.etimes two a day...even the best bulshitter will run out of breath. He will start repeating himself if he hasn't already,the smart viewers will move only he sheep and couch potatoes will stay till the bitter end. Truth...

I couldn't give a **** about anyone that does videos. It's usually their way and not necessarily the right way or wrong way.
I have my way from years of doing it and researching it.
Most of the stuff people are doing was done and written about 40 years ago.
I had a great teacher too.

Bought a spare tire well on here from Tony years ago to replace my rusty well.

Cleaned his up and it had about 10 holes in it. Asked him why he would sell me a rusty pan and he told me any competent person could spend 10 minutes with a welder and have it fixed. Wasn't worth my time or money to go any further on it but I made a mental note to never deal with him again in any capacity.
