Nice looking Duster. Can you tell me why it has 1972 bumpers on it? or am I wrong about that?

Ive been told that some late built 71's received the 72 bumpers and even some got the ribbed 72 style trunk lid? The duster shows no sign what so ever of colision and I would never suspect the bumpers ever being replaced.

I'd definitely be interested in talking about this, but I simply have no place to keep such a car right now, so there's no point in me even looking at it and wanting it! This car deserves a nice place to store it year round.
