Thank you tractor supply for hog rings.lol.
Will be my third early a interior. Back seats are not bad.
Front buckets are a PITA.
Working arthritis out of joints so I can start tomorrow with my prefered medicine( coors lite).
When my hands hurt I soak them in (warm/hot) apple cider vinegar with cayenne pepper mixed in. Your skin will tingle for about 24 hours but the pain will GREATLY decrease. I was pleasantly surprised............. just don't use your new hand strength to crush your beer cans!!!LOL

Well that looks nice...but it was the easy one!! Hope your hands hold out??

Have not tried that. What type of plastic do you recommend.?Very Nice Work.....you do know about wrapping the upper front seat sections with plastic to make it easier to slide the new upholstery on right??

The pros use a thin plastic like a very thin trash bag. You cover the upper front seat with the bag and it makes it much easier to slide the new upholstery over the seat. You didn't say if you had bucket or bench seats??Have not tried that. What type of plastic do you recommend.?
Thanks and good luck with your interior.Dry cleaner bags work if you have any
Front buckets are actually easier (than bench seats) because "they manufacture make super wide bags" (bench seats). You simply leave the plastic bag in the seat after you've installed the new cover. It makes it 10 times easier to slide the new covers onto the seats (no drag)!! Much less work. Don't worry about leaving the plastic in there because no one will ever know!!Thanks treblig.
Fronts are buckets.
Plastic will help with slipping over foam but your spot on dogbreath. The listing rods are exactly what make the front buckets a PITA.plastic bags won't help on 65 cuda seats , its the listing wires that are the problem which is why most people don't use the wires
