Trying to decide how to fix my rotten upper control arm bracket on my 63 Dart .Which is the best to do ? Replace the complete drivers side front frame rail, cut out and replace the frame section where the bracket is or get bracket pieces from Auto Rust specialist. Anybody have pictures of when they repaired their car ?

If the rest of the rail is solid, you're best bet is to just replace that section..less overall disturbance of the unibody.
I can sell you that section for $60 plus shipping.
Let me know if you can use it.

Pics of what you have? There's usually more going on then what meets the eye. Climb under the car and tap around on that rail all the way back to the trans X-member. Sometimes a complete rail if you can source one is the cleaner, faster, safer way to repair it.

Yep, a real bad design, dirt and salt builds up in the pocket under there, Rusts out the whole darn frame rail.....Replace just as much as needed to get rid of the rot.

The frame is in good shape. The bracket rusted through at the frame where dirt settled and I'm sure over the years acid from the battery helped. I thought about grinding spot welds off and replace the whole bracket assembly from a donor car.

When you get a break from the cold can you send me a picture ?

What is this rust thing you speak of ?
Dirt hides and holds moisture behind shock and rusts the upper control arm bracket at the frame. Hard to find unless you remove shock and clean everything up .
